The losers will go to the Copa Bruce; any team forfeitting will be ineligible for the Copa Bruce. The survivors will advance. Premier Division teams are excluded from this round.

Random draw amongst the twelve Copa Bruce Second Round survivors, and the non-Premier Division CVSA Cup Round of 16 losers. Any team forfeitting their CVSA Cup Round of 16 game is ineligible for the Copa Bruce. Teams receiving byes in earlier rounds cannot receive byes in this round. This round will consist of a "play-in" stage, where eight teams will be drawn to eliminate four, thus reducing the field of teams to 16. When reduced to 16, the teams will be paired off in the normal fashion.
