Random draw amongst the ten First Division, nine Second Division, nine Third Division, nine Fourth Division, & nine Fifth Division teams. The losers will go to the Copa Bruce; any team forfeitting will be ineligible for the Copa Bruce. The survivors will advance. Premier Division teams are excluded from this round.

Random draw amongst the ten CVSA Cup Second Round survivors, and the surviving Fall '02 Premier Division teams. Premier Division teams are seeded, so as not to be able to draw each other in this round. All non-Premier Division losers will be relegated to the Copa Bruce; any team forfeitting will be ineligible for the Copa Bruce. Any team receiving a bye in the previous rounds cannot receive a bye for this round.
